Founded in 1973, the Romana Restaurant recently celebrated it’s 37th year in business making it the oldest family owned and operated restaurant in the city of Burnaby.  Corinne Grierson recently visited the renowned eatery to see what has made it such a success over the past three decades.

Founded by former Olympic boxer, Manny Sobral, the North Burnaby Boxing Club has a long history in the city of Burnaby. It’s a non-profit society that welcomes both elite athletes and weekend warriors alike – providing training, coaching and most importantly camaraderie amongst it’s patrons.  Jeremy Bosch visited the community based club in this week’s This is Burnaby feature.
